The Joys

Exactly as advertised 2013 x3 - fast, comfortable and looked great once fixed. Required a new adapative headlight which was assembled from various ebay components. This headlight alone was close to $1,200 for a replacement, cobbling together components and coding them brought that down to about $600. Unlike the other 'fun' cars here, this one was designed to be a car for a teenager. They were years behind being able to drive, so it was sold to make room for fun things again.

The Struggles

None really to speak of. Considering it was a relatively low mileager vehicle, the interior was in excellent shape. The hood was swapped with a 2012 bmw x3 purchased approximately the same time. Manually reconnecting all of the shredded wires in the fron fender area harness seemed to work fine as well. This vehicle appeared to be hit by another vehicle while parked.

Final Outcome

Sold on craigslist for $6,000 cash.

The Experience

The closest I've made it to a profitable flip. That was never the goal, but it was a fun experience.
